They have a small but bright team that operate groupwide. The role is basically looking at processes and making them more efficient. This role gives you a fantastic chance to be in a growing, impactful FP&A team that will be perfect for someone who wants to progress within the same company Main Duties: As a Manufacturing Finance Business Partner, your main duties include: Collaborate with various departments, particularly manufacturing, to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiency. Monitor project spending to ensure it stays within budget, providing recommendations for any variances, while focusing on the specific needs of small manufacturing businesses. Support procurement processes and contribute to cost control initiatives that improve overall efficiency and profitability in an SME environment. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and accounting standards relevant to manufacturing SMEs. Assist in managing the month-end process, maintaining strong financial controls to minimise risks and promote transparency. Help develop and implement policies that strengthen financial governance and support business growth. Location / Office / Culture The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office based in Burton-On-Trent. The company operate from a modern office consisting of a strong team of 20. The business is very flexible in its working patterns and due to the current ongoing growth offers great chances for progression. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have: ACA/ACCA/CIMA studier Previous experience in a finance or analyst role, ideally in manufacturing or an SME. Ability to use financial analysis and modelling skills in the manufacturing industry. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software; knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Navision is a plus. Comfortable working with different teams and explaining financial information clearly to people without a finance background.
