Purpose of the role
* To promote and increase the sales of Hydraulically Bound Materials (HBM) products with key customers, clients and specifiers.
* Maximise opportunities through pavement engineering and value innovation
* Collaborate with Heidelberg Materials key stakeholders
o Contracting Commercial Teams
o Major Project Team
o Concrete Technical Sales
o Asphalt Technical Sales
o Aggregate Technical Sales
o Recycling Division
Key Accountability
* Work closely with commercial teams using Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) to ensure optimum pavement solution is created for the customer.
* Develop opportunities for innovative product solutions using recycled aggregates, cements, bitumen and emulsions.
* Provide clients, customers, commercial staff with in-depth technical support
* Review pre-contract tender documents to ensure specifications are ascertained correctly with opportunity for up-selling
* Challenge specifications, designs and commercial teams to offer value engineering solutions
* To ensure up to date product knowledge is communicated to commercial and operational staff
* Work with site teams to ensure compliance testing and installation records are carried out.
* Manage and reduce customer complaints through product knowledge and material installation.
* Follow the Sales is a Science strategy to enhance sales of HBM product solutions
* Comply with the company's Integrated Management System
