Job Description:
Our client has a unique role becoming available at a large venue in East London, managing all metering/siteworks activity and projects. As the Utilities Project Co-ordinator, you'll ensure venues and assets have a reliable utility supply and well-maintained facilities, requiring excellent stakeholder management with third parties, including tenants, maintenance contractors, and design/construction consultancies. You’ll oversee utilities supply and consumption, work closely with the project teams to ensure delivery of complex utilities schemes and with the sustainability team to identify and drive energy savings and efficiency. Key responsibilities:
1. To collate and monitor all utility supply agreements.
2. To manage metered and unmetered supplies and update of existing records.
3. To develop and maintain contact within utility companies.
4. To monitor performance data to drive efficiencies and generate savings.
5. To prepare energy/utilities use reports to identify energy savings opportunities.
6. Be the contact for utilities including routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
7. Work with FM Manager on day-to-day management of engineering & building services.
8. To build and maintain a collaborative relationship with all 3rd party contractors.
9. Manage projects delivery and have responsibility for associated budget expenditure.
10. Attend site meetings with a variety of stakeholders.
Skills and experience required:
1. Experience in utilities management (Water/Electricity supply & metering).
2. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with various stakeholders.
3. Practical and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills.
4. Adaptable to changing operational needs and demands.
5. Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks.
6. Experience working with external service providers and managing projects/works.
7. Health and Safety training (IOSH/NEBOSH preferable).
8. You will be happy to work outdoors when required (in all weather conditions).
