We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger & Banking Manager to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for: Overall responsibility for Purchase Ledger function including line management of a colleague Responsibility for store banking function Regular Purchase Ledger duties including processing payment runs and dispute resolution plus posting invoices, statement reconciliation etc as required Updating and reporting daily bank summary from Barclays download Month end journals for Purchase Ledger accruals (GRNI etc) Producing reports (aged creditors, GRNI) to support the weekly cash-flow process Ad hoc liaison with certain suppliers and stakeholders over new contracts, proposed charges etc What we are looking for: Experience in a Purchase Ledger management role Strong management skills and ability to meet sometimes tight deadlines Previous experience working in Finance accounts (Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Finance Admin) Strong communication and customer service skills Advance skills on Microsoft Excel including Pivot tables and VLookups Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of Sage 200 (Desirable) Benefits of The Original Factory Shop: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Hybrid working Birthday day off Colleague discount from your first day Contributory pension scheme Employee Assistance Programme Free life insurance Please click Apply to start your application.
