What’s needed
* Impactful decision-making: Prepare and present monthly management accounts to key stakeholders, directly shaping our business direction.
* Operational excellence: Manage the Sales and Purchase ledgers, credit control, bank reconciliations, and more, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with departmental budget holders, providing financial insights and constructive challenges to deliver our mission.
* System enhancements: Lead improvements and integrations, including CRM and payment portals, streamlining operations company-wide.
* Year-end expertise: Drive our year-end statutory accounts and audit process, showcasing your compliance skills.
* Global compliance: Manage VAT for the UK and international markets, ensuring regulatory accuracy.
* Agility & continuous improvement: Seeing change as an opportunity to learn and grow and always looking to enhance accounting and business practices to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
What you’ll bring

* Analytical skills: Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities.
* Communication: Clear, articulate, and confident in presenting financial information, understanding what different stakeholders might need and tailoring appropriately.
* Experience: Solid background in finance and CRM systems (SageX3 experience is a bonus).
* Qualifications: Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or relevant experience.
