Adjacency are delighted to be partnering a leading Gloucestershire business in the confidential recruitment of a Personal Assistant.
The PA will provide high-level business, financial and personal administrative support to the Chairman as well as more personal support such as organising flights, travel and corporate events.
The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a diverse range of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organisational skills, and the capability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. You will have to manage up and down the organisation, ensuring best practice and timescales are met.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion especially decisions directly impacting the operations of the company.
* Effective diary management, both personal and business
* Help with corporate / social entertaining.
* Coordinate travel, accommodation, and transport both UK and International
* Engage with the approved travel agent on briefing travel requirements, addressing travel issues and checking booking accuracy.
* Ensure events run by the Chairman are successfully attended by drafting invitations and reminders, distributing and managing RSVPs.
* Screen incoming telephone calls; take and deliver accurate messages; respond to requests by gathering and providing information and referring non-routine calls to the appropriate staff.
* Excellent communication and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Draft correspondence and letters / memos /emails as required.
* Be proactive & anticipate any needs in advance and report back to Chairman.
* Represent the company and the Executive in a positive light through great follow-through skills and sound judgment.
* Complete ad hoc projects as assigned – such as personal events and/or family needs.
* Organise complex calendars and schedules, resolving any scheduling issues
* Work with other EA on any projects and large company events
Skills & Qualifications:
* 5+ years of related experience required in working in an executive assistant role supporting C-Level executives.
* Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
* Experience of managing diaries, calendars and inboxes
* Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
* Experience of coordinating with internal teams regarding internal and external events
