We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse/Despatch Supervisor to join our brilliant team in Nottingham!

Location: Riverside Bakery, Nottingham
Hours: Day Shift: 6am – 6pm
Your shift pattern will be Sunday to Tuesday alternating to Sunday to Wednesday every 2 weeks (12-hour shifts).
Salary: £36,000 per annum
Your Duties Will Include:
* Supervise 10x warehouse operatives
* Forklift operations
* Order picking
* Stock control (Excel / Lawson)
* Goods in and out
* Continuous Improvement process
* Health and Safety compliance
Transport/Logistics Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support a team delivering goods to sites throughout the UK and internationally
* Transport planning and vehicle utilisation
* Ensuring and monitoring legal compliance
* Stand in for Shift Supervisor when on holiday
* Supervising a team day-to-day, prioritising workloads, and solving problems effectively
* Coordinating and processing outbound and inbound shipments using relevant software and databases
* Supervising booking in and storing received goods
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Picking and moving stock between warehouses – Riverside and Tottle
* Capturing and analysing data to drive improvements
* Communicating efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
* Ability to support, motivate, and coach staff to maximise individual and team performance
* Ability to use initiative and maximise resources to source effective solutions
* Ability to work to set targets and meet deadlines
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Supervisory skills, as well as being able to work effectively within a team environment
* Working knowledge of customs procedures post-BREXIT would be advantageous
* Organised, detail-conscious, and confident in working with computerised systems
* Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* A calm, efficient, and enthusiastic demeanour, even on the busiest of days
* MS Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel)
* Experience in stock and warehouse management, logistics, and operational efficiency
* Experience of working within the food manufacturing sector or FMCG is preferable
