Electrical Installation/Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities:
Conveyor and full plant installation
1. Conduct electrical installations according to engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
2. Working with heavy plant machinery.
3. Perform electrical equipment setup, configuration, and testing.
4. Ensure proper electrical connections, wiring, and grounding for safe and efficient operation.
5. Collaborate with project teams to develop installation plans and timelines.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues or malfunctions during installations.
7. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
8. Conduct electrical equipment commissioning to ensure functionality and compliance with standards.
9. Perform electrical tests, inspections, and compliance checks.
10. Provide on-site training and support to customers regarding proper equipment use and maintenance.
Requirements:
1. 50/50 Electrical/Mechanical or 70/30 Electrical Bias.
2. Proven experience as an Electrical Installation/Commissioning Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
4. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and wiring.
5. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
7. Knowledge of electrical safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
10. Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
11. Flexibility to travel to various job sites, as required.
