The role of the Wytch Farm Senior Process Engineer is to ensure that the technical integrity of the Process discipline and/or operational activities are assured by ensuring that all company and regulatory codes, standards and good engineering practices are applied in a safe and consistent manner. The role is also required to lead implementation of a number of OPEX and CAPEX projects in the annual budget. The post holder will lead the Process section of the Engineering team located at Wytch Farm, and will report directly to our Wytch Farm Engineering Manager. Key Responsibilities include: Some of the more specific tasks required of the role include (non-exclusively): • Process Discipline lead for the site providing guidance to junior engineers and back up support to Operations. • Lead the expectations of the process discipline, ensuring processes and systems in place to keep the discipline in good health are maintained and up to standard. • Perform Standard process engineering calcs and checks • HAZOP oversight. • LOPA oversight. • Overpressure protection management. • Hazardous area classification management. • MOC reviews and process engineering input to risk assessments. • Project Manage key Process bias CAPEX and OPEX projects as determined by annual plan • Process Engineering input/support to CAPEX projects managed by others • Take lead on incident investigations where requested and proactively ensure that the root cause of the incident is understood and actions raised to address • Process upsets & incidents are investigated and understood. • Own process engineering drawings and approve updates. • Operational Risk Assessment approvals. • Input to COMAH and regulatory visits. • Take a lead on related relevant Regulatory discussions. • Support where required ISO14001 Audit compliance. • Support where required ISO45001 Audit compliance • Take lead on process safety KPIs • Back-up support to MOC Co-ordinator role Safety Critical Tasks There are a number of Safety Critical Tasks that you will be made aware of and systems you will be required to competently operate Experience/Qualifications • BEng – Chemical or appropriate Engineering Discipline. • Chartered Engineer with extensive knowledge of plant operations. • Strong awareness of process discipline industry standards and the ability to apply them in practice. • Strong interpersonal and communication Skills • Able to influence business priorities and provide direction to the development of business options. • Self-motivating with the commitment to work consistently to the highest standards. • Strong Safety and Environmental Culture • Provide innovative and creative solutions to challenges. • Proficiency in process simulation software Benefits At Perenco we value and reward our people, offering competitive salaries and a wide range of benefits including: • Discretionary Bonus • Private Medical Insurance • Flexible Benefit Allowance • Life Assurance • Excellent Pension Provision • 25 days holiday bank holidays • Flex Days • Profit ‘Unit’ Sharing Scheme
