Quality Engineer (Construction) required by our client, working within their nuclear defence division.
Location: Tadley, Berkshire.
Proposed start: Mid Feb 2025.
Available as a permanent (paying upto 60k plus benefits) or LTD on an outside of IR35 contract. (£400 to 450 per eight hour day, estimated).
Objective:
This role involves providing guidance to enhance a culture of quality, ensuring adherence to processes, and reviewing quality documentation for compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct audits, inspections, and report on quality metrics.
Support Lifetime Records production with both project and suppliers. (LTQR's)
Monitor non-conformance data and identify areas for improvement.
Build strong relationships with client and contractor teams.
Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
Experience with quality tools and techniques.
Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
Security Clearance (SC) – ability to gain. (Must meet special nationality and residency status. (Our client can not supoort applicants requiring a working visa)
Desirable:
CQI membership or working towards it.
CSCS card.
Experience in the construction industry
