We are looking to expand our team and have a position available for a dedicated and experienced bench joiner, but we would also consider a recently qualified joiner looking to further their career.
Skills:
· Experience as a bench joiner.
· Competent in the use of woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools.
· Ability to understand and work accurately to product drawings.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
· Good team skills and be able to work independently and assist others.
· Be organised, tidy and manage time sensibly to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
· Preparing and machining components to the product cutting list and drawings.
· Setting out where necessary.
· Operate woodworking machinery, including saws, planers, routers, and sanders, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
· Manufacture and assembly of door-sets, windows, screens and cabinets.
· Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure effective communication and workflow.
· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
