Defence Growth Analyst Hybrid – attached to our London, Hook or Solihull office Full time, Permanent Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience Here at Serco, we are looking for a proactive and dedicated Growth Analyst to support the Defence Growth Director and the team in identifying, shaping, bidding, and winning work in the defence sector. This role will involve strategic research, analysis, and the development of strategies, contributing significantly to the ongoing success of our Defence Business Unit. As part of this you’ll: Manage Defence Procurement Portals to source potential opportunities. Conduct analysis of past and future opportunities and market trends. Perform competitor, market, partner, and supply chain analysis as needed. Assist in compiling opportunity capture plans and governance artefacts. Support business development tasks, including producing workshare matrices and partnering diagrams. Contribute to the management and reporting of the defence pipeline using MS Dynamics. Assist in stakeholder management and reporting via MS Dynamics. Gather information from within the BU and across the Serco group to support opportunity shaping. Support the team in developing Requests for Information (RFIs) and Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) submissions. Provide marketing support to the Growth Director as necessary. What you’ll need to do the role: Proven ability to deliver results at pace. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, both internally and externally. Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills to simplify complex information for decision-making. A hands-on, pragmatic approach when required, with a strong willingness to learn. Able to work to tight deadlines with a focus on efficiency and quality. Strong IT skills, including report creation and data management. A passion for working in the defence sector, with at least 2 years’ experience in a defence-related role. Degree qualified (e.g. Business Management, Engineering, Project Management, International Relations). Open to alternative qualifications. What we offer: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
