The Role
We are seeking a Sales & Business Development Director to drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and identify new market opportunities. This role requires a dynamic, strategic leader with exceptional sales, negotiation, and industry expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share in sheet metal fabrication and laser cutting.
* Identify and capitalize on high-value business opportunities through networking and market research.
* Manage and grow £500K+ key accounts, ensuring strong customer retention and satisfaction.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, industry leaders, and internal teams.
* Deliver engaging corporate-level presentations that highlight our expertise.
* Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to client visits, negotiations, and deal closures.
* Work closely with Sales, Production, and Quality teams to align solutions with customer needs.
* Provide regular reports on performance, market trends, and competitor activity to the Managing Director.
* Ensure ongoing post-sales engagement through follow-ups and on-site client visits.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven success in B2B sales, business development, or account management within manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering.
* Industry experience in metals, pressings, or fabrication is a strong advantage.
* Ability to interpret and communicate engineering drawings effectively.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
* Technical understanding and problem-solving abilities. ESSENTIAL
