Classroom support assistant Full time or flexible part time – Term time only Special school for secondary age students Pontefract We have an exciting opportunity at the special school in Pontefract that cater for students age range 11 – 19 years old could be a good fit if you're interested in working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Severe complex or profound multiple learning difficulties. Among this many of the students contend with additional needs, including Autism, sensory impairment, challenging behaviour, as well as medical and physical difficulties. If you would like further information regarding this role, please contact Tracey Young on (phone number removed) or email: Here are the key points and requirements of the role: Job Overview: Experienced classroom support assistant Secondary Special school in Pontefract Full-time or part-time, based on availability Competitive rates, between £98 – £108 per day (AWR Compliant) Essential Requirements: At least 6 months experience working in a special school or a similar setting GCSE passes, GNVQ Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care Experience supporting students with PMLD, severe complex needs, Autism, sensory impairment, challenging behaviour, medical and physical difficulties.
