Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the role involves managing procurement of IT goods/services, supporting procurement activities such as managing IT budgets, preparing business cases, vendor management, and product sourcing. Additionally, the role includes managing IT processes and procedures, ensuring the IT Knowledge Base is current.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate on procurement of IT goods/services, ensuring all transactions are tracked and auditable using ERP systems.
* Understand procurement principles, contract administration, and licensing practices.
* Manage interfaces between supplier management and other processes, including service level and vendor management.
* Make decisions based on standard procedures, demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills, and prioritizing multiple projects.
* Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external clients, providing excellent customer service.
* Ensure IT supplier processes comply with governance requirements and standard terms.
* Maintain and review IT supplier and contract data in the management system.
* Ensure compliance with GDPR and ISO 27001 for all contracts and suppliers.
* Manage IT purchasing and contracts to ensure value for money within budget.
* Assist in quarterly business reviews with key suppliers.
* Maintain and improve the IT Knowledge Base in collaboration with IT Service Delivery and Operations teams.
Candidate Criteria:
Essential:
* HNC/HND or equivalent experience
* Experience in IT procurement or administration
* Excellent organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills
