Our client is an established International Shipping Agency based in Goole with associated businesses across the logistics and manufacturing industries.
They are seeking an experienced, passionate and Sales-oriented Ship Chartering and Agency Manager to lead and grow the business in line with targets.
This is a new role for the business, so you will be an important part of a growing successful team who are focused on growing the business to the next level and will mean the opportunity to earn equity or for business career growth for you within the business.
Salary & Benefits Package
1. £40 to £50K PA dependent on experience, plus timely bonuses based on success.
2. This is a full-time commitment position.

Key Requirements of the Role
7. Proven track record in shipbroking, specifically in short sea chartering.
8. Strong network within the maritime industry.
9. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
10. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
11. Willingness to work from our client’s office in Goole (within 30 miles).
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
13. Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
Responsibilities
14. Negotiate and arrange shipping contracts.
15. Develop new business and aid with marketing.
16. Maintain and develop relationships with ship owners, charterers, and other industry stakeholders.
17. Provide market insights and analysis to clients.
18. Ensure the successful execution of chartering contracts.
19. Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions.
