Job Title: Year 2 Teacher - Chorley

£140 - £190 Per day
Job Duties:
Design and deliver engaging lessons to Year 2 students, ensuring adherence to the curriculum
Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student participation and growth
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote student success and well-being
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance, using technology as needed
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 2
Strong knowledge and understanding of the Year 2 curriculum
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with students, colleagues, and parents
Effective differentiation techniques to cater to the diverse learning needs of students
Strong classroom management skills, creating a safe and positive learning environment
Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate certificate in Education or equivalent
Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
This role requires working full-time hours in a primary school in Chorley. The teacher will be responsible for classroom teaching, lesson planning, student assessment, and collaboration with colleagues and parents to support student success and well-being.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
