CBT Therapist required for a full-time permanent position, for an exciting opportunity to provide high quality psychological therapy services within service.
Working in the outpatient team to provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) assessment, formulation and treatment to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To work closely with relevant other professionals as appropriate.
2. To communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans to clients.
3. To undertake risk assessment and risk management of service users.
4. To provide CBT based assessment, formulation and treatment for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
5. Undertaking and managing a clinical caseload in accordance with operational policy.
6. Attend monthly clinical supervision to develop knowledge, skills, and promote access to clinical excellence.
7. High levels of clinical governance are expected, including all documentation as required by the service.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Education/Qualifications: Doctoral Clinical/Counselling Psychology with BABCP accreditation or working towards this, or registered health professional and BABCP Accredited.
2. Assessed experience of working as a qualified CBT therapist or experience of working in mental health delivering CBT treatment.
3. Able to deliver interventions to a wide range of clients.
