We want to reduce the stress families can face when dealing with the admin around a loved one’s death by providing a single point of contact between the bereaved and businesses across the UK, saving time and effort and helping to ease the process for both sides. Role Description: This is a full-time role for a Sales Development Representative with flexible working options. The SDR will be responsible for identifying and engaging with new leads and moving new prospects through the sales funnel through a range of outbound sales strategies. This will create new opportunities for the company and help to accelerate a well defined sales process. You will work closely with VP Revenue to help develop the existing pipeline and grow market share - as well as the wider commercial team. Key Responsibilities: Identify and follow up potential leads through various channels, including outbound calls, emails, and social media. Deliver tailored, personalised outreach to generate leads and build strong stakeholder relationships. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and develop them into viable sales opportunities for the commercial team. Conduct research to understand the needs and challenges of buyer personas, tailoring outreach accordingly. Generate prospecting lists of relevant stakeholders in target accounts using accurate contact data. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all conversations and monitor pipeline progress using CRM systems. Work with the marketing and sales teams to refine lead generation strategies and improve lead quality. Set up and participate in high quality discovery meetings with senior stakeholders and commercial team members. Follow up with those who have inquired about our company - qualifying leads from marketing campaigns and converting them into sales opportunities. Work closely with commercial team members to optimise commercial output. Create, tailor and deliver relevant marketing collateral to potential prospects as required. Qualifications: 2 years proven experience in a B2B lead generation or sales development role, with a demonstrable track record of success. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence. A proven ability to generate leads and turn them into qualified sales opportunities. Able to handle objections, overcome challenges and adjust approach based on what is required. Experience with sales prospecting techniques like content creation, copywriting, market mapping, cold emailing and social outreach. Track record of achieving sales quotas in target driven environments. Quality focused: experience generating high quality leads for the sales team that will convert into revenue for the business. Experience working with CRM systems. Understanding of sales performance metrics. Gravitas, resilience, and goal orientated with a strong work ethic. Experience working with content, growth marketing and/or demand generation teams.
