What you will do
As a Group KYC Analyst, you will be responsible for enhancing and professionalizing our seller and buyer onboarding processes across Europe. In this role, you will conduct due diligence, assess financial risks, and ensure compliance with EU regulations. You’ll work closely with our Legal, Product, and Sales teams, as well as external Payment Service Providers, to drive compliance excellence.
Through a blend of analytical expertise and hands-on execution, you’ll help position TBAuctions as a leader in secure and compliant digital auctioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Due Diligence (CDD): Conduct risk-based due diligence on new and existing sellers and buyers.
Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): Perform in-depth investigations on high-risk entities, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and high-risk jurisdictions.
Ongoing Monitoring: Identify and escalate suspicious activities based on client behavior and transaction patterns.
Data Verification & Documentation: Collect, review, and validate KYC documentation, including company structures and UBOs.
Process Improvement: Identify and propose improvements to our KYC procedures and technologies.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide practical advisory support to internal teams and liaise with Payment Service Providers to resolve compliance cases.
What you bring
Strong knowledge of EU AMLD, Dutch Wwft, FATF guidelines, and global KYC practices.
Analytical skills to assess financial and legal structures for potential financial crime risks.
High attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy in reviewing client documentation.
Excellent communication skills to educate and advise stakeholders across different teams.
Experience working with KYC screening tools such as Moody’s Passfort, Orbis, or Grid (preferred).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics, Criminology, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in KYC, financial crime investigation, or a comparable analytical role.
Fluent in English; Dutch or an additional European language is a plus.
