Hawkins\Brown is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Studio Assistant to join our vibrant Manchester studio. As our Studio Assistant, you'll be the heartbeat of our studio, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Please see the full job description attached to this vacancy on our website. Please note that this role is currently a 12-month fixed-term contract position General Main point of contact on Front of House. Assist with the day-to-day running and smooth operation of the Studio. Assist with Fire, Health & Safety, security, and compliance. Develop a positive working relationship with the business support and architectural teams. Front of House / administration Welcome clients and visitors, ensuring a positive studio experience. Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Monitor studio calendars, assist with meeting room bookings and coordination, facilitate meeting set-up Organising and presenting occasional breakfasts and lunches for select meetings and CPD training sessions Maintain a clean, organized, and well-repaired studio, ensuring an efficient working environment for everyone. Receive incoming deliveries and organise outgoing post and couriers. Monitor the inventory of groceries, stationery, and other essential office supplies regularly and ordering promptly to replenish the stock. Assist with organising studio socials, company events, staff drinks and gifts. Organise staff travel and accommodation through our travel booking system. Maintain the studio library. Assisting project teams with uploading imagery to Open Asset. Assist with administrative and general I.T tasks. Assist with studio expenses. Premises / facilities Be a point of contact for the building manager / landlord representative/s. Assist with premises/ facilities contracts: cleaning, waste, etc. Assist with building maintenance Fire, Health & Safety Be a point of contact for FH&S / Security contracts. Assist with FH&S processes and procedures: risk assessments; PAT testing; accident and incident reporting, etc. Standards / legislation Assist with ISO:14001 process for the Studio.
