Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports to senior leadership.
* Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to ensure financial stability.
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
* Oversee internal controls and implement best practices in financial management.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business performance and decision-making.
* Assist with strategic planning, including cost analysis and investment decisions.
* Provide leadership and mentoring to junior members of the finance team.
The Successful Applicant
Skills & Experience
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
* Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role, preferably within a logistics or fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting, and compliance.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
