Your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimise our end-to-end supply chain, which includes logistics, warehousing, and production, to support our ambitious growth plans. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational change, owning the strategic direction of the channel. Reporting directly to our CEO & Co-Founder, you will be a key member of our senior leadership team, during an exciting time of growth for the business. We’re looking for a passionate and driven individual who can take ownership of this department and transform Denzel’s supply chain into a best-in-class operation Responsibilities include: Managing the end-to-end supply chain : to ensure the business responds effectively manages to sales requirements, overseeing demand and supply forecasting, production planning, stock management and procurements. This includes the management of our busy seasonal production calendar Developing and implementing operational strategies : creating and executing short and long term operational strategies that unlock operational efficiencies, aligning with the company’s vision and growth plans Making strategic purchasing decisions : managing the team’s use of our inventory management software, Unleashed, ensuring accurate stock record-keeping and optimising stock levels to minimise obsolescence and reduce stock-outs risk Building and managing our key supplier relationships : to support the business’s current and future objectives and unlock operation efficiencies Building strong working relationships across departments : including finance, sales and marketing to ensure seamless communications regarding production, warehousing, new product development launches, budgeting and reporting Providing management and mentorship: to upskill and grow our operations team to meet company goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability Upskill and manage our operational processes : in order to improve efficiencies Ensuring impeccable service levels with our key retailers : providing a seamless delivery to our online customers and 100% happy dogs Who are we looking for? 5 years in FMCG operations and supply chain, including supplying major grocers Previous experience holding senior positions within operations Experience in leading and directing successful teams and operational change within FMCG companies A broad understanding and exposure of how operations influence and impacts business performance Someone who thrives in high-growth environments, happy to roll up their sleeves and tackle challenges Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills, comfortable with ambiguity and change Confident in budgeting & forecasting Flexible and hard-working:, this role requires some travel around the UK for supplier visits and meetings Someone who embodies our core company values: ✨ Our Core Values Delights in the detail Open and honest Gives a Gets it done A dog person What’s in it for you?
