The aim of this project is to remove barriers to mental health recovery and/or risk factors for future poor mental health, by addressing underlying issues with debt/finance, housing, employment, relationships, and more. The Mental Health Project Caseworker will deliver advice to individuals with mental health issues on these areas, which are core advice areas for Citizens Advice Solent East.
The role involves close collaboration with professional and voluntary sector partners, as well as a committed and experienced team.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. You will need to have strong attention to detail, be approachable and friendly, and possess the flexibility and resilience to tackle the challenges that this role may present.
Importantly, you should have experience in supporting others and proven experience in an advice-giving capacity.
This role primarily involves working from Citizens Advice Solent East Offices, but some home visits and hybrid working will be possible.
