We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Manager for our client who designs, manufactures, and supplies a comprehensive range of electrical products focused on switchgear, control systems, general electrical engineering, and power transformers. The Technical Sales Manager will cover the North of England and ideally be based somewhere close to the M62.
Technical Sales Manager - Duties
1. Maintain Customer Relationship Management database accurately and in a timely manner and produce a monthly sales report.
2. Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and provide the Managing Director with market activity feedback.
3. Conduct face-to-face visits or arrange video calls.
4. Develop lasting business relationships with new, current, and previous clients.
5. Provide a technical solution to the clients' needs (in conjunction with Engineering when needed).
Technical Sales Manager - Skills
1. Previous sales experience of High Voltage equipment.
2. Strong technical knowledge supported by Electrical qualifications.
3. Enthusiastic and organised, a self-starter working with minimal oversight.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Tenacious sales attitude.
