About the Role
The Clinical Services Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the effective delivery of substance use treatment services across Bristol. This exciting opportunity has arisen to join our new partnership, Horizons, delivering clinically excellent services with a fresh approach.
As a Clinical Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting your team to deliver high-quality services, providing clinical supervision, completing appraisals, and delivering training. You will also take the lead on aspects of clinical governance within the service and designated key performance indicators.
A portion of your role will involve providing clinical interventions reflecting your high level of clinical skills and expertise. As a member of the service senior leadership team, you will have a real opportunity to help shape service delivery and contribute to delivering clinically excellent services.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support your team to deliver high-quality services
* Provide clinical supervision and complete appraisals
* Deliver training and support colleagues to work within their full scope of skills and competency
* Take the lead on aspects of clinical governance within the service and designated key performance indicators
Requirements
You will need to be a nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. An inspiring role model, you will already have experience in a drug and alcohol setting and be able to build relationships with colleagues, commissioners, and service users alike.
A working knowledge of safeguarding, substance use issues, and legislation are key, as is the ability to recognise indicators of substance use and the issues that service users might face. You will be a confident communicator and influencer, able to engage and influence people at all levels.
