Corporate Strategy and Performance Support Officer - Fixed Term Contract 24 Hours Per Week - Can be flexible, by mutual agreement. We are recruiting to a fixed term position of Corporate Strategy and Performance Support Officer at an exciting time. This role is to support setting up processes that will embed our new Council Plan across the work of the organisation, so that we can be sure we are delivering what is important to our residents and monitoring our impact. You will join the Insight, Strategy & Inclusion team where your day-to-day work will involve administration to co-ordinate corporate performance reporting, and developing processes to track and demonstrate how our actions are making a difference. You will liaise with other departments to ensure reporting timelines are met and develop new templates for collating the Delivery Plan, Service Plans, and Key Performance Indicators. This is a part-time post - at 24 hours a week to run for approx 9 months. We can consider a flexible working pattern. We are looking for someone with strong administration skills, and an eye for detail who can liaise confidently and diplomatically. You will drive change through improved work processes. Support the transition to a new monitoring approach likely through applications such as Microsoft Lists and PowerBi: set up templates and processes for collating information for reporting. Update the team’s information hub and Strategy Library. Create a calendar of when data sources are due to be updated. Establish planning timescales for information requests and assist with problem-solving as required. Skills and Experience: Strong organisational and co-ordination skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including with senor officers. Work accurately with figures and confident cross-checking data returns. Confident with Excel at intermediate level. Experience with Microsoft Lists and PowerBi is a plus. Ability to work independently, and as part of a team that works across the organisation. Minimum GCSE English and Maths grade 4 / grade C or equivalent.
