The Company
I am working with an excellent company, who are experiencing rapid growth, due to leading the market with products they supply into a range of different sectors. As a result, they are recruiting for a Proposals Engineer to join their team to assist with projects, quotations and client specifications, so if this is you then apply now!
The Role
To action the preparation of proposals for a range of bespoke products by coordinating activities of the Proposals, Sales and Engineering teams.
Respond to customer questions and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Review and action the customers enquiry process into a costed workable solution.
To work with the external Sales Managers or customer prospect to ascertain the enquiry information necessary to produce sales proposals, including technical product selection, quotation document and costing through standardised costing templates and technical specifications.
Submit a detailed response to the enquiry documentation and provide responses to any subsequent requests for clarification.
To act as the Company's internal contact point for the customer during the enquiry and bidding processes.
Key Skills
Experience with ATEX or working in a hazardous industry
Understanding of client specifications
Experience as a BID engineer, Sales Engineer or Proposal Engineer in a similar industry
