We are looking for 2 Apprentice Commercial Finance Assistants to join the Commercial Finance Team at Thermatic Group.
As a member of the Commercial Finance team, you will be exposed to the entire business, being the bridge between finance and operations. The successful candidates will support the Commercial Management Accountant in their daily duties and assist in improving business performance. The role will be varied, and you will learn and partake in the following responsibilities alongside studies for your AAT Qualification.

Hours & Location of Work:
* Main location - Thermatic Head Office based in Salford, Manchester
* Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week
* Flexibility for study days to be negotiated
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
You must be comfortable working in a busy environment and be able to pick things up quickly whilst maintaining a high standard of work and high attention to detail. As this is an entry-level role, work experience is not required, but experience using Microsoft Office packages is desirable. A high level of self-motivation and an aspiration to develop a career is a necessity.
Responsibilities include:
* Month end reporting (e.g. Accrual reporting, WIP reporting, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet reconciliations)
* Journal posting
* Timesheets & Payroll
* Operational reporting
* Data validation
* Financial and operational system analysis and support
* Additional duties required by the Commercial Finance team
Desirable:
* Experience in working in a similar role or environment
* Knowledge of Microsoft systems, particularly Excel
