Responsibilities
Prepare, draft, and finalize legal documents including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
Conduct thorough legal research and summarize findings to support case preparation.
Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accurately filed.
Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including gathering evidence and creating trial binders.
Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other external parties.
Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
Assist in billing and invoicing processes, tracking billable hours, and maintaining financial records.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, legal assistance, or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a related legal role.
Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with legal terminology and court procedures.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £160.97
Location: Lambeth, South East London
