As Assistant Manager - Housekeeping, you will help lead our Housekeeping team. Being part of Hyatt means always having space to be you. You will assist the Housekeeping Manager in the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping, Laundry and Linen Department ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and adhering to the standard required by the hotel.
Some of your duties will include:
1. Managing the rooms process of "In house VIPs" and arriving "VIPs" along with Front Office.
2. Ensuring your team of Attendants work in a systematic manner which leads to excellent levels of service.
3. Working closely with Team Leaders and the Manager to strive for the best guest feedback.
4. Monitoring performance and correcting any actions that do not fit within our standards.
5. Assisting Engineering with room maintenance and networking with all suppliers for rooms stock.
To be successful in your application, you will have a proven track record in assisting to manage a successful Housekeeping operation of a similar standard and size in Hotels. You will have a deep understanding of the Housekeeping Operation and will be able to make suggestions for improvement to our existing operation. With a keen eye for detail and the highest standards of cleanliness, you will be able to motivate others to perform to the best of their ability and will see the importance of developing individuals to succeed.
With knowledge of Opera and Microsoft packages, you will be well presented and have an excellent level of both verbal and written English.
