Permanent
Location: Edinburgh / Peterborough / Witham (typically 2 days in the office per week, 3 from home)

We're driven by our commitment to helping the UK get ready for retirement. As part of this, we're constantly developing new ways to simplify, improve and revolutionise how we help individuals, employers, advisers, our communities, and the environment. That means we need the right kind of people on our team.
We help people live their best lives. We help them with the big stuff, for the moments that matter: Pensions, Savings, Investments.
We're looking for an experienced Complaints Officer to join our Customer Oversight team. You'll take ownership of complex complaints passed over from our Triage Complaints Officers, investigate the customer experience to work out if they've been detrimentally impacted by our service, proposition, or products. In cases where that's happened, you'll calculate the appropriate redress and compensation, and make sure that our customers clearly understand the decisions reached.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
1. Previous experience in a complaints-related role within financial services
2. Great analytical and investigation skills
3. The ability to clearly communicate decisions to customers, both written and verbally.
It'd also be great - but not essential - if you've got:
1. An understanding of pension products
2. An understanding of FCA, ADR & MIFID & IDD dispute resolution regulations
What's in it for you?
1. A non-contributory pension between 8%-12%
2. A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance.
3. 34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)
We support your personal wellbeing with healthcare, dental, holiday trading, cycle to work scheme and gym memberships. We also offer life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave to help our staff live their best lives, including retail discount vouchers, subsidised restaurant and online GP appointments.
We ask everyone to be brave, raise their game, deliver first time, help others, and act in everyone's best interests. If you recognise yourself in this, we'd love to hear from you.
The legal bits
We'll need you to confirm you have the right to work in the UK. If we offer you a job and you accept, there are some checks we need to complete before you can start with us. This will include a credit and criminal record check, as well as providing satisfactory references.
