Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a team of support workers to ensure the highest standard of care.
* Build trusting relationships with young people, supporting their emotional, social, and personal development.
* Implement care plans, risk assessments, and behavioural strategies.
* Work closely with multi-agency teams, including social workers, healthcare professionals, and educators.
* Assist young people in developing independent living skills, education, and career aspirations.
* Respond to safeguarding concerns and ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
* Manage shift planning, team supervision, and report writing.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children and young people in a residential or similar setting.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards completion by September).
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and trauma-informed care.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
