Seaside House is a small Children's Home in Southchurch providing a 24-hour service. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to empower lives for children with emotional behavioural difficulties.
Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing care and assistance to children. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and excellent communication skills. Full training is provided, as such experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities:
1. Communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and other professionals.
2. Provide support according to individual needs.
3. Assist children with daily activities.
4. Create a safe and nurturing environment for children.
5. Support children's emotional well-being and development.
6. Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and reporting.
Experience:
1. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
2. Ability to drive is desirable for transporting children when necessary.
3. Proficiency in creating and implementing care plans is advantageous.
