1 to 1 LSA Full-Time BS7 KS2 Pupil September Start A 2 form entry Primary School in the BS7 area of Bristol is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work 1 to 1 with a KS2 pupil from the beginning of September. This school have very high standards of teaching and of the children’s learning. With this in mind they have great outcomes of assessment with children of all year groups. The staff members work hard collaboratively to provide a safe, engaging, creative and inclusive school for children to be themselves. The Role You will have the opportunity to work closely with the SENDCo and Class Teacher to support a single pupil in a KS2 class. The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who is nurturing and patient, someone who can build a strong relationship quickly. You should be able to work collaboratively to assess the pupils development and support them to be engaging and curious about their learning. You will be expected to: Work collaboratively with the class teacher to assess development. Have high expectations for the individual to succeed. Assisting with lesson planning and classroom preparation Create a stimulating and purposeful environment Be flexible and adapt activities based on the pupils' needs and emotional feelings.
