About the role:
We are currently seeking a Data Returns Administrator to join our Student Data department at The Bedford College Group.
As a Data Returns Administrator, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
* ILR Error Resolution - Assist with ILR error resolution, download and maintain student Unique Learner Numbers (ULNs), and correct validation errors.
* Data Management - Run and validate agency returns, upload and download results, and ensure mandatory data returns are submitted in line with statutory requirements.
* Support and Guidance - Discuss ILR validation issues with Student Registry Leads, ensure understanding of errors and funding rule exceptions, and provide necessary actions to prevent them.
* Audit Preparation - Prepare sampled student records for audits, ensure appropriate checks, and work with college staff to fulfil any missing evidence.
* Compliance and Development - Keep up to date with funding guidelines, participate in training and development, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, and health and safety requirements.
About you:
* Qualifications and Experience - Level 2 qualification, GCSEs in English and Maths, IT user qualification, and high performance in previous roles.
* Skills and Abilities - Investigative skills, excellent organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and knowledge of data protection legislation.
* Interpersonal Skills - Effective communication, ability to work with diverse backgrounds, and promoting equality and diversity.
