We are recruiting a Mechatronic Engineer, who will work within the existing DBP Engineering team to provide equipment diagnostic & troubleshooting support, working across electrical and mechanical systems on automated machinery, fault finding and ensuring equipment runs efficiently. You will have excellent Automation and Electrical skills, great Problem-Solving skills, a high level of attention to detail, an ability to multitask, be highly resourceful and have good people skills. You will be self-motivated and thrive working on initiative, as well as being comfortable following standard procedures and practices. The Role Fault finding and repairs across electrical & mechanical systems Support towards continuous improvement initiatives Respond to breakdowns quickly and correct problems efficiently Work in line with good health & safety practice Work to drive the overall Engineering function and performance What we are looking for Level 3 or HNC/HND qualified Engineering/ Mechatronic/ Electrical Maintenance experience gained in a production setting, preferably FMCG/ Food Skilled across electrical, mechanical & pneumatic systems Knowledge of automated machinery and systems: motors, VSD, PLC's, HMI's, electrical circuits, mechanical drives, conveyors Good knowledge of health & safety practices Can work to a high standard in a fast-paced setting You will be joining an experienced, skilled and well organised engineering team, playing a crucial role in optimising machine performance and minimising downtime. The role is to work Continental shifts, the Shift pattern is primarily to provide Engineering support to the Sunday morning Production, whilst providing support to the Weekday Production Nightshift to Day-Shift changeover period. Across a working Week the Shift pattern is, Dayshift Sunday 06:00 -18:00hrs 12hrs Monday 06:00 16:00hrs 10hrs Tuesday 06:00 16:00hrs 10hrs Wednesday 06:00 16:00hrs 10hrs Nightshift Sunday 18:00 06:00hrs 12hrs Monday 18:00 04:00hrs 10hrs Tuesday 18:00 04:00hrs 10hrs Wednesday 18:00 04:00hrs 10hrs These shifts will alternate 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights.
