Our client, based in Mitcheldean, work alongside several national organisations to support towards achieving their ecological targets in providing vehicle emission control services and have engineers based in Manchester and London. They are currently seeking a permanent Scheduling Administrator to join their growing and friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast paced yet supportive environment where you will play a vital role in the day to day scheduling and coordination of the team of field based technical engineers. You must be a reliable and organised individual with a proactive approach and ‘can-do’ attitude.
Responsibilities:
-Act as the first point of contact for all customer issues, feeding back to the team of engineers to ensure they arrive fully prepared.
-Coordinating job allocation for field engineers as efficiently and effectively as possible.
-Scheduling of day-today work activities for a team of field engineers
-Ensuring that all bookings taken are fully recorded and updated with payment details
-Work closely with the Senior Field Engineer to ensure all bookings are completed within their time allocation.
-Process key paperwork from field service teams including service visit reports, parts usage forms and weekly timesheets.
-To fully log and record reports, so that they can be accessed by all staff
-Ensure that all jobs are fully costed and invoiced after completion
-Update service logs using existing excel spreadsheets to document service date completion and invoicing details
-Ensure all additional works carried out by field engineers is quoted and agreed with customers prior to work being undertaken
-Provide general administrative support to engineers
-Create quotes for internal and external customers
-Record and monitor engineers holidays and sickness
-Monitor parts usage and raise PO’s on suppliers to ensure stock levels are maintained
Candidate Attributes:
-Previous experience working in a scheduling or customer service role
-Good geographical knowledge of the UK
-Strong attention to detail and time management skills
-Good organisational skills with a "can do" attitude.
-Excellent communication skills
-Must be a team player
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm / 9am – 5pm (working hours can be flexible)
Salary: Highly negotiable depending on experience + annual company bonus
