Service and Installation Engineer (Petrol Pumps)

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Service and Installation Engineer to join the team at Merridale, in Wolverhampton. You'll be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining our cutting-edge electronic fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment at customers' sites nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installing, servicing, maintaining, calibrating, and upgrading fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment at customers' sites.
2. Providing technical advice to customers and distributors, ensuring exceptional service both face-to-face and by telephone.
3. Keeping detailed records of installations, service visits, work undertaken, and parts/stock used.
4. Conducting site surveys as required.
5. Assisting with the manufacturing of fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment.
Requirements:
1. A minimum qualification of a Level 3 NVQ in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (or equivalent) is required.
2. Ability to adapt to a busy and demanding installation and service environment.
3. Physically capable of attending customers' sites on a nationwide basis.
4. Willingness to learn and apply electrical, mechanical, and technical principles relevant to our products.
5. Clean driving license and willingness to work away from home occasionally.
6. Availability for overtime and flexibility to occasionally work out of core hours.
Package:
Full-time position (40 hours per week) with overtime opportunities.
25 days holiday, plus statutory public holidays.
Competitive salary: £32,000 to £34,000 per year (possibly higher for an exceptional candidate), depending on experience and qualifications, plus overtime.
