We are currently recruiting for a mobile fitter, to join our client's team. This role involves the repair, servicing, and maintenance of heavy construction equipment, with a focus on large machinery such as piling rigs and related accessories. Key Responsibilities Field Service & Repairs Travel across various UK and Ireland sites to attend equipment breakdowns and rig commissioning Diagnose, service, and undertake repairs Routine Maintenance & Inspections Carry out scheduled maintenance Identify defects during inspections and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Assist with major machinery repairs and rebuilds. Disassemble, repair, or replace faulty components before reassembly. Test equipment following repairs to ensure it meets operational and quality standards. Documentation & Communication Accurately complete electronic reports for inspections, services, and repairs. Clearly communicate issues and repair solutions to the team and management. Health & Safety Compliance Follow all Health and Safety regulations, risk assessments, and company protocols. Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and compliant manner. What We're Looking For Proven track record in maintaining and repairing heavy construction equipment. Familiarity with piling rigs and heavy-duty machinery is a strong advantage. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to execute repairs effectively. Competence in completing electronic work reports. Additional Requirements Right to work and live in the UK. Flexibility to travel nationwide, including overnight stays when required. A full, valid UK driving licence.
