This is a great developmental role for a newly / fully qualified Accountant looking to gain experience in an analytical role.
You will report into a Senior Finance Business Partner and provide high quality analytical support for the stores of this retail business.
Day to day:
Support the Senior Finance Business Partner day to day
Provide updates to senior leaders on sales and profitability analysis
Support on cost control, identifying cost savings
Problem solve; understand inefficiencies within the stores and support business improvements
Budgeting and forecasting
Understand the payments and commissions in the business and provide an overview of future payments and commission costs based on your analysis
Explain any variances to budget
work with finance to help shape the accruals process so that accurate costs are reflected in the accounts

You will need:
To be fully qualified ACCA, ACA or ACMA
Have some experience working in a finance function, this could be in audit for an accountancy firm or in an analytical role for another business.
Have strong communication skills, confident to present information to senior stakeholders
Have strong IT skills, advanced in excel in particular
Be interested in working for a fast paced retail business that can offer long term career progression

Full time: Hybrid working pattern between office and home
