Job summary
To support care given by seniorclinicians in the practice, by working alone and as part of the team, followingpractice protocols. Provide simple and complex wound care to a range of acuteand chronic wounds, liaising with colleagues and referring for specialistmanagement as necessary.

Main duties of the job
1. Wound care to include recognising wound infection and escalating to appropriate clinician as required.
2. Appointing patients into appropriate clinics.
3. Baseline measurements.
4. Maintaining record of refrigerator temperatures and cleaning as appropriate.
5. Act as patient chaperone as required.
6. In-house testing of urine samples. Ensure specimens are correctly labelled, bagged ready for collection and documented on EMIS
7. Performing ECGs
8. Escalating any problems to the nurse team leader or practice manager.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POST
