JOB DESCRIPTION About the role We have a new opportunity for a Lettings Officer to join our team in Oldham on a full time 6-month fixed term contract. You will work closely with several of our customer-facing teams to ensure our homes are let within target and safely deliver the lettings service, in the Guinness Service Style, achieving positive outcomes for Guinness and customers. You will manage the end-to-end lettings process and focus on the allocation of our homes, conducting applicant eligibility and pre-tenancy procedures.Liaising with development teams and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from scheme completion to first let. What we're looking for We are a customer-focussed organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will need to demonstrate recent experience of providing lettings services within social housing, with a passion for great customer service always striving to enhance customer experience and improve performance. You will also be able to demonstrate the below essential skills and experience: Experience & understanding of letting homes in the social housing sector. Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information. Proven ability to provide timely, accurate and clear responses to routine customer enquiries - by telephone, email, text and in writing. Experience & understanding of letting homes in the social housing. Good oral and written communications and ‘can do' attitude. Exceptional time management and organisational skills Able to demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours. CIH Housing Practice Level 3 is desirable.
