Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivatedand enthusiastic, patient/service focused pharmacist to join our aseptic team. Based within our (MHRA) licensedmanufacturing unit the post-holder will be expected to participate in the provision of all services offered, including in and outpatient chemotherapy, adult nutrition and a CIVAS service. Development opportunities would be provided according to interest both within operational management in aseptic/technical services. Main duties of the job - To deliver, as part of a team, a comprehensive, safe and cost-effectivepharmaceutical service to the Trust and its patients.- On a daily basis, manage the provision of aseptically prepared medications and licensed manufacture of aseptic preparations, including their supply to internal and external customers.- To participate and assist in the development of a clinically orientated pharmacy service linked to specialist areas.- Perform the professional role of a registered pharmacist within the aseptic manufacturing unit, which includes advice, supervision, co operation, problem solving, and training and support of colleagues.
