Job Description
The key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will include:
* Assisting with the preparation of financial reports
* Updating and maintaining accounting journals and ledgers
* Assisting in the processing of invoices and expense forms
* Supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
* Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations
* Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes
* Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc accounting tasks
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* A solid understanding of accounting principles
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
* AAT qualified or working towards professional qualification
* Excellent numerical skills
* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* A proactive approach to work
