We have an exciting opportunity for a HV Electrical Engineer to join our team in Bromsgrove. The role will see you working on numerous client sites maintaining Transformers and Switchgear and associated equipment. Your New Role
Working on HV, LV, Transformers, Switchgear and Associated Equipment.
Carrying out service / remedial works on Equipment.
Able to write up detailed quality reports, daily site reports and such.
Carry out electrical testing and fault finding
Mechanical modifications and repairs.
Carry out routine PPM (planned preventive maintenance) to a manufacturer’s standard.
Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment,
Ability to test LV protection and type up accurate reports of results.
Install HV/LV panels and transformers to manufacturers standard.
About You
Essential Qualifications/Skills/Experience
BTEC in Electrical Engineering
A thorough Understanding of Electrical Power System up to 33KV.
Good Transformer knowledge and understanding
Have operational experience as a HV Electrical Fitter.
Desirable Qualifications/Skills/Experience
Ability to work proactively on your own or in a team
Be able to prioritise workload
Ensure work is to a high standard when working on client sites.
Work well as part of a team
Must be eligible for SC /CTC clearance and DBS Check.
Full UK Driving License
