Supporting the Factory General Manager with implementing strategic initiatives, you will have five direct reports and will be the link between the Factory Manager and the Factory - allowing the FM to focus on more strategic business. This is a 12 month FTC. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborates with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives aligned with the site goals and objectives. - Provide input and insights into operational strategies to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability. - Continuously evaluates and improves processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity using Lean Manufacturing techniques. - Identifies opportunities for innovation and implements new technologies or methodologies to optimize operations. - Develops and manages the operations budget, tracking expenses and identifies cost-saving opportunities. - Provide strong leadership to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and CI. - Create a safe working environment and ensures compliance with HS regulations. - Lead the Site Operation to continually develop the production system to maximise performance across all metrics. Ideal Candidate: - Bachelor's degree in food science, Engineering or related field, formal qualification or significant experience in CI, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Six Sigma methodologies. - Leadership experience in manufacturing industry - Certification in HACCP, GMP - Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt)
