The Package
Permanent contract
35 hours per week
Agile working (Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire)

The Role – Neighbourhood Officer
Due to the recent expansion of our housing stock in the East, we are looking for a candidate with strong local knowledge of Wrexham, Flintshire, and Denbighshire to effectively engage with our communities and stakeholders.
Our properties span across North Wales, and we are seeking a motivated individual who is prepared to work on various aspects across housing management functions. This includes providing support and enforcement to address anti-social behaviour, conducting scheme inspections and gas access visits, and handling matters related to occupation contracts. This will involve:
Providing an effective housing management service to a neighbourhood patch, utilising a customer focused approach and maintaining accurate record keeping
Addressing report of anti-social behaviour utilizing a range of reasonable and proportionate support / enforcement options
Deliver neighbourhood planning approaches through collaborative working
Supporting the reletting process
Support with delivery of strategic objectives and service improvement projects outlined in the NWH Corporate Plan / General Needs Team Plan
Our Requirements – Neighbourhood Officer
Understanding of professional boundaries, occupation contracts and housing management
Experience of general Housing management gained in either public or private sector
Demonstrable experience of working in a customer focused environment
Attend tenant meeting out of hours when required
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
You will demonstrate an ability to be courteous and be able to pronounce place names accurately in Welsh, or willingness to learn.
A basic DBS check is required for this role
