Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Knowledge Management.
In this role, we are seeking a training leader in the London Insurance Market who should have a mix of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and strong facilitation skills to effectively lead and enhance our knowledge management initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our teams have access to the right information at the right time, driving efficiency and innovation across the organization.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement comprehensive knowledge management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
2. Lead initiatives to capture, organize, and share knowledge across the organization.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge gaps and develop solutions.
4. Oversee the creation and maintenance of knowledge repositories, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
5. Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning through training and awareness programs.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives, making adjustments as needed.
7. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in knowledge management.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Industry Knowledge & Technical Expertise
1. Understanding of London Market Processes (Underwriting, Claims, Policy Administration, Delegated Authority).
2. Knowledge of Lloyd’s & Company Market Operations.
3. Familiarity with Regulatory & Compliance Requirements (FCA, PRA, Lloyd’s Minimum Standards).
4. Experience with Insurance Market Systems (PPL, LIMOSS, DXC’s Bureau Services, ECF, IMR).
Training & Facilitation Skills
1. Ability to Simplify Complex Topics.
2. Engaging Presentation & Communication Skills.
3. Virtual & In-Person Training Delivery.
4. Coaching & Mentoring Capabilities.
5. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills.
6. Ability to Assess Skill Gaps & Training Needs.
7. Data-Driven Approach to Learning Effectiveness.
8. Customizing Training for Different Audiences (Underwriters, Claims Handlers, Brokers, Operations).
9. Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS).
10. Use of Digital Training Tools & E-Learning Platforms.
11. Familiarity with AI & Automation in Insurance Training.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
1. Engaging with Senior Leaders & SMEs.
2. Working with Underwriters, Brokers, and Claims Teams.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration with Compliance & IT Teams.
