Shared Services Manager - Salary circa £35,000 This is a great job for someone who would like work across all areas of COO and the UK Insurance, Wealth and Retirement (IWR) business The team handles the COO Service schedules, which outline the services provided by COO for IWR. These schedules help maintain a commercial relationship between Profit & Loss and COO, aiding in decision-making regarding priorities, risks, costs, and customer needs. The Shared Services Manager will collaborate with senior leadership to document and understand the services provided within COO, supporting customers and products. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain broader exposure in operations and help embed the Shared Service process into COO. A bit about the job: The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring that the Service schedules reflect the Services COO provides to IWR businesses, including updating the schedules as needed. The position holder would also be working with teams across COO to streamline the process required to update the schedules and drive further alignment to existing COO processes. This role includes management and running of the COO change control process, where changes are identified through Service Reviews as well as supporting the Shared Services Lead in planning and preparation for the Service Reviews with IWR businesses. Skills and experience we're looking for: Financial Services industry experience would be highly desirable, ideally within an operational role. Excellent stakeholder management skills, partnered with strong verbal and written communication. Data analysis skills with a good grasp of Excel and PowerPoint.
